range of CFT Accredited Diving courses. See below:
In addition to the
full range of Accredited Snorkeling courses:
JUNIOR SNORKELlER
Has achieved a basic snorkelling standard.
Must be accompanied, in open water by a snorkeller of
at least Senior Snorkel grade.
INTERMEDIATE SNORKELLER
He/she has developed a greater range of pool skills and
acquired a greater depth of theory. The
Intermediate Snorkeller has ample time to pursue
Additional Achievements.
SENIOR SNORKELLER
A Senior Snorkel Diver is proficient in open water
snorkelling with a buddy. He/she is permitted to
snorkel dive with buddies of the same grade or higher
and may lead trainees, with the D.O.’s or S.O.’s
permission.
RESCUE SNORKELLER
The holder of this certificate has successfully completed a
course and passed an examination in the theory and practice of snorkel
rescue, including self and buddy rescue, in-water resuscitation, rescue
management and first aid awareness.
SNORKEL LEADER
An experienced
snorkeller who has passed the Snorkel Dive Leader Examination is competent
to lead snorkellers of any grade on open water snorkels and is capable of
organising snorkel groups. Snorkel Dive Leaders will be involved in leading
Trainee Snorkellers.

INSTRUCTOR
A Snorkel
Instructor has been trained and examined in the theory and practice of
teaching snorkellers, both in and out of the water, according to C.F.T.’s
various training modules. A Snorkel Instructor is qualified to teach all
grades except Snorkel Examiner, and is able to examine up to and including
Senior Snorkel Diver grade.

A Snorkel
Instructor has been trained and examined in the theory and practice of
